Hosting for bars and pubs

Power bank rental
for bars and pubs

A Procura station keeps your guests' phones alive for the whole night. It costs you nothing to host, and it pays you a share of every rental.

Yes, a bar or pub can host a power bank rental station for free. Procura installs it, runs it, insures it, and pays you a share of every rental.

Why a flat phone costs a bar money

People keep their tickets, taxis, bank cards and the way home on their phone. When the battery goes, they leave, and they take their spending with them. A guest who isn't watching their battery doesn't leave early. They stay for another round, and that spend goes through your till.

The numbers back it up. In June 2026 Vodafone UK asked 2,000 people about their phone batteries. 74% said battery worries make them wary of going too far from a plug socket, 46% said their phone nearly dies at least once a week, and 22% rely only on their phone to pay. Only 32% carry a power bank of their own. Source: Vodafone UK, survey of 2,000 UK adults by Walr, June 2026.

Everyone else is looking for a socket. A station in your bar gives them somewhere to go that doesn't involve your staff lending out cables.

Which machine fits a bar or pub

The Procura Counter is the one most venues start with. Twelve banks sit in a cabinet about the size of a coffee machine, under a 21-inch screen, and it can sit on a shelf or the bar top. When the room gets busy, a second cabinet stacks on top to make 24.

Where people queue or wait, the slim Floor 24 standing kiosk holds twenty-four banks. See all the machines.

We choose the machine with you on the site visit and mark the exact spot. All we need is half a square metre of floor, or a shelf or bar top, and a mains socket within reach.

What it costs you, and how you earn

  • It costs £0 to host, for as long as you keep it. No purchase, no lease, no service contract and no invoices.
  • You take a share of every rental. The split varies by location, and we agree it with you after a consultation call and a two-week trial.
  • The screen is yours. Run your own offers, or sell the space to sponsors and keep that money as well.
  • Your branding goes on the machine. Colours and logo are agreed before it is built.

What your team has to do

Nothing. Guests scan the QR code, pay on their phone and take a bank, with no app to download. If anything goes wrong they deal with us, not your team. We monitor the station remotely, restock and repair it, and cover theft, damage and liability, with £5m public and products liability cover on every installation.

How to get started

  1. A free consultation call about your venue and your footfall.
  2. A site visit, where we mark the spot together.
  3. A one-page hosting agreement, with no purchase, lease or service contract.
  4. Installation, which takes a morning with nothing drilled or wired in. Then a two-week trial, and a review of the numbers.

We order machines one at a time, in the order hosting agreements are signed, so we give you a realistic window when you join rather than a date we might miss.

Quick answers

Before you ask

Will it get in the way behind the bar?

It needs half a square metre of floor, or a shelf or bar top, plus a mains socket. We mark the exact spot with you on the site visit, so it sits where guests can see it and your team can work around it.

What if a guest walks off with a bank?

Their card carries on being billed by the hour, and any loss is ours to deal with. It never becomes your problem.

Can the screen show our drinks menu or promotions?

Yes. The screen runs your promotions or menu, and you can sell screen time to sponsors and keep the revenue.
