Hosting for restaurants and cafés

Power bank rental
for cafés and
restaurants

A Procura station frees your guests from the nearest socket. It costs you nothing to host, and it pays you a share of every rental.

Yes, a café or restaurant can host a power bank rental station for free. Procura installs and runs it, and pays you a share of every rental.

When the sockets are taken, guests leave

In most cafés the two or three sockets are taken by 10am, and people pick the plug over the table. The tables away from the wall sit empty, and once a phone hits single digits the visit is over. The customer who would have stayed until three o'clock packs up and goes, and the table turns over for nothing.

With a power bank to hand, the whole room becomes usable. The customer stays until they have finished, ordering as they go. The café that solves the battery problem also becomes the default place to work from, and that is how people turn into regulars.

Vodafone UK's survey of 2,000 people in June 2026 found that 46% say their phone nearly dies at least once a week, and only 32% carry a power bank of their own. Source: Vodafone UK, survey of 2,000 UK adults by Walr, June 2026.

Which machine fits a café or restaurant

The Procura Counter suits most cafés and restaurants. Twelve banks sit in a cabinet about the size of a coffee machine, under a 21-inch screen, and it can go on a counter or a shelf. When the room gets busy, a second cabinet stacks on top to make 24.

If you have a queue or a waiting area, ask us about the slim Floor 24 standing kiosk. See all the machines.

What it costs you, and how you earn

  • It costs £0 to host, for as long as you keep it. No purchase, no lease, no service contract and no invoices.
  • You take a share of every rental. The split varies by location, and we agree it with you after a consultation call and a two-week trial.
  • The screen is yours. Run your own offers, or sell the space to sponsors and keep that money as well.
  • Your branding goes on the machine. Colours and logo are agreed before it is built.
  • The screen can carry your menu or your specials.

What your staff have to do

Nothing. Guests scan the QR code, pay on their phone and take a bank, with no app to download. If anything goes wrong they deal with us, not your team. We monitor the station remotely, restock and repair it, and cover theft, damage and liability, with £5m public and products liability cover on every installation.

How to get started

  1. A free consultation call about your venue and your footfall.
  2. A site visit, where we mark the spot together.
  3. A one-page hosting agreement, with no purchase, lease or service contract.
  4. Installation, which takes a morning with nothing drilled or wired in. Then a two-week trial, and a review of the numbers.

We order machines one at a time, in the order hosting agreements are signed, so we give you a realistic window when you join rather than a date we might miss.

Quick answers

Before you ask

Do my staff need training?

No. Guests scan the QR code, pay on their phone and take a bank. There is nothing for your team to learn, and if anything goes wrong guests contact us.

How much space does it need?

Half a square metre of floor, or a shelf or counter top, and a mains socket within reach. We mark the exact spot with you on the site visit.

Can the screen show our menu or specials?

Yes. The screen runs your promotions or menu, and you can sell screen time to your own sponsors and keep the revenue.
