Hosting for gyms and leisure centres

Power bank rental
for gyms

Phones go flat on the gym floor, and the member who can't get out is the one who remembers it. A Procura station fixes that for free, and pays you a share of every rental.

Yes, a gym or leisure centre can host a power bank rental station for free. Procura installs, runs and insures it, and pays you a share of every rental.

Why gyms are where phones die

At a gym, the code to get in and out is on the phone. When it dies, the member is stuck asking staff to let them out. It happens on the way out, which is the part of the visit people remember.

Before building Procura we surveyed more than 10,000 gym members in 2025 and 2026. 80% said they would use a power bank at their gym, because they regularly run out of battery there. Source: Procura gym member survey, 2025 to 2026.

Which machine fits a gym

The Procura Counter works well on a gym floor or at the front desk. Twelve banks sit in a cabinet about the size of a coffee machine, under a 21-inch screen.

At reception, the slim Floor 24 standing kiosk holds twenty-four banks under a full-height screen. See all the machines.

We look at the building with you on the site visit and mark the exact spot. All we need is a small patch of floor and a mains socket.

What it costs you, and how you earn

  • It costs £0 to host, for as long as you keep it. No purchase, no lease, no service contract and no invoices.
  • You take a share of every rental. The split varies by location, and we agree it with you after a consultation call and a two-week trial.
  • The screen is yours. Run your own offers, or sell the space to sponsors and keep that money as well.
  • Your branding goes on the machine. Colours and logo are agreed before it is built.
  • The screen can run your classes and offers.

What your team has to do

Nothing. Guests scan the QR code, pay on their phone and take a bank, with no app to download. If anything goes wrong they deal with us, not your team. We monitor the station remotely, restock and repair it, and cover theft, damage and liability, with £5m public and products liability cover on every installation.

How to get started

  1. A free consultation call about your venue and your footfall.
  2. A site visit, where we mark the spot together.
  3. A one-page hosting agreement, with no purchase, lease or service contract.
  4. Installation, which takes a morning with nothing drilled or wired in. Then a two-week trial, and a review of the numbers.

We order machines one at a time, in the order hosting agreements are signed, so we give you a realistic window when you join rather than a date we might miss.

Quick answers

Before you ask

Will members actually use it?

We asked more than 10,000 gym members in 2025 and 2026, and 80% said they would, because they regularly run out of battery at their gym. Members pay £3 an hour, with no deposit and no membership.

Can we show our classes on the screen?

Yes. The screen runs your promotions, classes or menu, and you can sell screen time to your own sponsors and keep the revenue.

Where in the gym does it go?

Most gyms start with a Counter unit on the gym floor or a Floor 24 at reception. We look at the room with you and mark the spot on the site visit.
